Case registered against MV Jaryarajan
Kannur: The Kannur town police on Wednesday resistered case against MV Jayarajan who made a call to the SFI students to use physical force against Kozhikode North Assistant Commissioner of Police K Radhakrishna Pillai when he is not in uniform. The town police registered a case against him under sections 116, 117 .
Jayarajan made the comments while inaugurating a dharna at the municipal stadium complex here organized by the SFI demanding action against the ACP, who had fired at the agitating students in Kozhikode. Jayarajan said, 'there is no difference between Radhakrishna Pillai and you when he appears without uniform'.
He said there was nothing wrong in beating up the police official whenever he was spotted without uniform.
