Hundreds of farmers on Sunday held protests against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party Government of the State over its alleged failure in addressing their issues, a Press statement said.
The protests which were held at Depalpur, were led by local Congress legislator Satyanarayan Patel. Patel demanded uninterrupted power supply and adequate supply of fertilisers for farmers.
Holding placards and banners, the protesters shouted anti-BJP slogans at Silawat Circle.
While addressing the rally later, Patel alleged that the State Government has failed in providing proper power supply to farmers beyond four-hours daily.
