The Higher Education Department has announced the date of admission in the BEd course for 2011-12. The students desiring to take admission in BEd colleges can get registration online at authorised MP online Kiosk centres from November 14. The last date of registration is November 27, 2011.
According to the official information, students of all classes would have to deposit registration fee of `2500. The students not getting registered would not be admitted in any BEd course. The students getting registration would have to submit their certificates verified from November 15 to 29 at the help centres in selected Government colleges.
Their list can be seen on the website of the Higher Education department. The students of general backward classed who have secured minimum 50 per cent marks in graduation can get registration online in BEd course. The students of SC and ST categories would get concession of 5 per cent marks.
There would be 75 per cent seats of MP quota in every BEd College in which students of Madhya Pradesh only would be given admission. The reservation rules would be followed completely at the time of admission.
In the first phase of counselling, the vacant seats of BEd colleges would be displayed on MP online patrol on December 17. Counselling to fill up these seats would start from December 18 to 24. The allotment list of this phase would be displayed on December 29. The students concerned can deposit their fees up till January 4, 2012. If 96 seats remain vacant, counselling of third phase would start from January 7, 2012. Fee of `50 would have to be deposited separately for participating in the counselling sessions in second and third phases.
After registration, if the student fails to get admission on merit basis, he /she would be returned his fee after deducting registration fee. Classes, for the student who got admission through online registration in the BEd course session 2011-12, will start from February 2.
