In a unique decision, the State Government has decided to stress on agriculture, horticulture and floriculture simultaneously. This was informed by Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya here on Friday.
While talking to mediapersons he told that the roses of Malwa are famous in the World and in Gulf countries, the roses of Malwa are in high demand and the State Government will make Malwa Region as a big centre of floriculture in the country. In this regard, Vijayvergiya with a team of experts will visit Netherlands and will participate in an international conference from November 1 to 4. He told that in next four months the international airport of Indore will be operational which will provide direct international flight from Indore.
“We have requested the Airport Authority of India to construct a cold storage to stock the fruits, vegetables and flowers which will come directly from the fields so they remain fresh until they land in cargo flight. And if the AI is not interested to build the cold storage, then the State Government will construct this,” he informed.
He further said that the farmers can earn Rs 5 to Rs 15 lakh per acre per year. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is working on this project so that subsidy and other Government help can be provided to the farmers.
He told that the State Government is very conscious on health facilities to the common man and continuous efforts are being made to upgrade health facilities infrastructure and availability of medicine to the common man.
Very soon, the new building of Dharnaka Government Hospital which is lying vacant for a long time will be provided with an Allopathic Doctor and also 50 beds tribal Girls Hostel in Mhowgaon Nagar Panchayat is lying vacant and the tribal department has hired private building on high rent to give accommodation to tribal girls.
The private buildings are in bad shape and the tribal girls are living a miserable life in these buildings. Vijayvargiya told that very soon the tribal girls’ hostel will become functional.
