BJP makes mockery of Digvijay’s remarks

The State unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has made mockery of former Chief Minister and All India Congress Committee general secretary Digvijay Singh’s remarks and advised him to refrain from posing as an astrologer as the people of the State have seen the fate of his predictions made in 2003 and 2008.

BJP State Vice-President and MP Raghunandan Sharma in a statement here on Friday said, “The people of the State have given befitting reply to Singh’s ridiculous statements by rejecting the Congress in last two Assembly Elections.”

Sharma further said that giving statements and then backtracking from them or terming them his personal opinion have now become Singh’s hobby. What could be more shameful for the senior Congress leader that his party’s spokesmen were forced to the State time and again that the party does not go with his views and those could be his personal views, he added.

He said that the Congress general secretary should leave future happenings on God, instead he should pray the God for getting better intelligence so that he could understand the difference between nationalists and anti-nationals.

He said that at time when the Indian representatives were terming Malegaon and other bomb explosion incidents a handy work of Pakistan’s secret service ISI responsible for them, Singh’s statement holding Saffron terror responsible for them were making India’s claims controversial.

He said that Singh should leave giving misleading statements; this would be his great service for the nation. The people are fed up with corruption and rising prices, and to raise these issues is basic right of the people in the democracy.
