State Congress has alleged that the cases of excesses on women and children in Madhya Pradesh are on the rise ever since the Bharatiya Janata Party Government came to power.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president and MP Kantilal Bhuria commenting on the latest report of the National Crime Bureau (NCB) said, “The excesses on women and on children are on the rise every year in the State due to the inability of the BJP Government of the State to control it, this has been proved again by the NCB report that has placed the State on top in crime and excesses on children andwomen.”
Bhuria further said, “Not only the State has tops in crime and excesses against women and children but the State has also been placed fourth in the general criminal incidences.”
He said that both the situations were enough to shame the people of the State. It seems that the BJP Government of the State has allowed the musclemen to function freely in the State and wanted to know from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as to how much more shame his Government would bring for the people of the State.
Bhuria, also a former Union Minister said that the latest NCB report proves that the theatrical BJP Government of the State has completely failed on the front of maintaining law and order in the State and exhibits that the Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Government has set aside the Rajdharma. At the place of paying attention on the development of the state it is busy in making such tactics that could make BJP’s political meetings a success, he added.
He said that the most objectionable part of the Chouhan Government’s working is that whatever works done by the BJP are publicised only on the hard earned money of the common people.
