CBI quizzes Andhra Home Minister

The noose seems to be tightening around bigwigs in Andhra Pradesh in the case of illegal mining of iron ore by former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy’s Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC). In a major step forward in its investigation into the massive scam, the CBI has questioned Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy about grant of mining lease to OMC when she was the Minister for Mines in the YS Rajashekhar Reddy Cabinet of 2004-09.
