Panel formed to finalise policy on farm houses

The Delhi Government on Monday set up a four-member committee to finalise policy to regulate farm houses, focusing on issues like permissible built-up area, revenue sharing and whether they should be allowed to host social functions such as weddings. Chief Secretary PK Tripathi will head the committee.

"We have decided to set up a committee to frame a policy on the issue," Chief Minister Sheila Dik**** said after the meeting. The committee will include Finance Secretary DM Spolia and Revenue Secretary Dharmendra. There are 2,731 farm houses in the national capital and majority of them controlled by either Delhi Development Authority (DDA) or Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
