Man shot dead in scuffle over sharing water
A person was killed after an argument over sharing water supplies while five others were injured.
The argument turned violent between two groups in Alipur area of outer Delhi. The three accused persons have been identified as Shyamo, her husband’s nephew, Jaiprakash and another neighbor, who sustained bullet injuries in the incident. A police official said, “Rambiri, had an argument with another woman who was identified as Shyamo over water two days ago. On Sunday night, Rambiri, in order to seek revenge, called her brothers for help. Her brothers came with guns and fired at Shyamo and others after threatening them with dire consequences.
“Just after the incident, supporters of Shyamo got nervous that outsiders had come and opened fired in their area and soon a scuffle followed. In the clash, one of Rambiri’s brothers, Satbir sustained severe injuries and died in a hospital where he was taken for treatment,” police added.
