Advani set for grand welcome in Rajasthan
The BJP in Rajasthan is set to accord a rousing reception to Jan Chetra Yatra of LK Advani, when it enters Jodhpur on Wednesday.According to Satish Punia, general secretary of the State party, who is in charge of Rajasthan leg of Advani’s yatra, party workers from western Rajasthan have already started reaching Jodhpur to receive the yatra.
He would address his first public meeting at Gandhi Madain in Jodhpur, before proceeding to Beawar on way to Ajmer. During his four-day-long yatra of Rajasthan, Advani would address about a dozen large and several wayside meetings. Before entering Haryana on November12, the yatra would cover half a dozen districts, nine parliamentary constituencies and 27 Assembly constituencies, says Punia. In all, he would cover a distance of about 750 kilometers.
Party is bracing to have maximum number of people in his meetings at Ajmer, Jaipur and Churu. In Jaipur, Ramleela ground would be the venue of his public meeting on November 10. Party workers have decked up main roads and the markets of the capital with party flags, banners and posters.
During his yatra, Advani is expected to visit three religious places - Pushkar, Ajmer Dargah and Salasar Dhan in Sikar district.
