Large numbers turn up in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh
A high 79 per cent voters sealed the fate of 37 candidates who are in the fray for the by-elections to the Adampur and Ratia Assembly constituencies in Haryana.
Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh witnessed an impressive polling with 80.66 per cent and 73.99 per cent people casting their votes in the Nalagarh and Renuka Assembly bypolls respectively. Polling was peaceful and no untoward incident has been reported from any part of these two constituencies
