While the Telangana Rashtra Samiti was the in the process of finalising its strategy, the CPI and the lone member of the Lok Satta have announced their support to the no confidence motion.
While the lone YSR Congress legislator was likely to vote against the Government, the Congress MLAs supporting Jagan were unlikely to invite the disciplinary action by voting against the Government.
The TRS was likely to stall the House on the issue of Telangana demanding a resolution to be passed in the House.
The 12-member Telangana Rashtra Samiti legislature party met in Hyderabad today to discuss the strategy to be adopted in the House.
Meanwhile, the State Congress president and Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana exuded confidence that the Congress Government will come out unscathed from the no confidence motion as the Telugu Desam and the YSR Congress party did not have sufficient strength in the House to create any problems for the Government.
While the Opposition parties demanded in the BAC meeting that the problem of Telangana should also be discussed during the session, the Government turned it down. The House will discuss the issues like the drought, price situation and welfare schemes. It will also meet on Saturday and Sunday in view of the short duration of the session.
The TDP demanded that the session should be extended to 15 days but the Government did not agree.
