Special train for Goa visitors this New Year
If you are planning a trip to Goa for New Year celebrations, go for the all tourist special train to the coastal State that Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will roll out in January.
The 7 nights and 8 days package offer includes travel by an exclusive train booked for the tourists, sightseeing by dedicated tourist buses, accommodation at decent hotels and other features.
The train would roll out from Safdarjung Station in New Delhi on January 21 and will return to the national capital after full day sightseeing of North Goa and South Goa on January 24 and 25, respectively. “Provisions have been made for embarking and disembarking at tourist destinations like Agra and Jaipur,” an IRCTC official said.
Under the budget class category, non AC train travel and non-AC hotel accommodation is offered at a low of Rs 7800 (triple occupancy). The non-AC train travel combined with AC accommodation at hotel will cost Rs 8,950 in the triple occupancy category and Rs 13,200 in single occupancy category.
The comfort class comes with 3-AC train travel and AC accommodation in 2 star hotel for RS 12,950 on triple occupancy basis. II AC train travel and AC accommodation at 2 star hotel is being offered at Rs 20,150 (ingle occupancy), Rs 17,350 (double) and Rs 15,900 (triple).
