J Dey murder: Vora remanded in judicial custody
A special court on Friday remanded woman journalist Jigna Vora and Paulson Joseph, accused in the J Dey murder case, to judicial custody till December 20, after the prosecution told the court that they were no longer required for custodial interrogation.

Special judge SM Modak of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) remanded Vora and Joseph to judicial custody for 11 more days, after prosecutor Dilip Shah informed the court that the Crime Branch sleuths were not pressing for their police custody, as the investigators had already completed the interrogation of the two.

Vora (37), who was arrested on November 25, has been booked under MCOCA for her alleged complicity in the crime.

Fifty-six-year-old Dey, who was an Editor (Special Investigations) with Mid Day, was gunned down by a group of motorbike-riding gangsters at Powai in north-east Mumbai on June 11.
