New J’khand energy policy promises total electrification
Dark nights may be a thing of the past for the three crore residents of Jharkhand in the near future. In its brand new energy policy, the State Government has set a target of cent per cent rural electrification by the end of 2012 and power to each and every household of Jharkhand by 2014. The draft policy also aims to improve the per capita consumption of electricity to the level of the national average by 2012.
