79 pigeons killed near Rajasthan sanctuary
At lest 79 pigeons were killed at Akoda village of Ramgarh Wildife Sanctuary area this morning. Dr Girish Vittal Salfele of veterinary hospital here, who conducted the postmortem on the deceased birds, said the pigeons were killed and their wings were interlocked.
Ranger Suresh Misera said 79 pigeons were killed and a case has been lodged against two persons under the Wildlife Act. A penalty of Rs 6000 has also been recovered from the duo accused of killing the pigeons.
