Inderpuri murder: Cops still clueless
The Inderpuri murder case has taken the South West district police for a ride. The woman, whose hacked body parts were recovered stuffed in two bags, is yet to be identified.
A hue and cry notice has been circulated throughout the city and in the neighbouring areas but nobody has come forward to claim the body. Police say that she was murdered somewhere else and then the body was disposed off. The body was highly decomposed and the face was defaced due to excessive swelling. There is a reason behind this belief because there was not even a single trace of blood in both the bags used to conceal the body parts.
A senior police officer said, it appears to be a murder of vengeance as the killer had used a heavy and sharp-edged weapon very mercilessly. The body of the woman was cut with precision but not surgically. The murder was a highly trained one as the weapon has been used with telling effect. Police are baffled as the killer had managed to dump the body in a place like Inderpuri area that is so densely populated.
Till 2 pm on Thursday, children from the area were playing on the spots where the bags with human limbs were found. According to police sources, it appears that the bags were dumped between 2 to 3 pm. There were tyre marks on the spot suggesting that the killer had ferried the body in a car and sped away after offloading the two bags. Cops are also trying to relate as to why the killer chose two places for dumping the body when he could have done it very easily at the first place itself.
Investigators are flabbergasted that the person, who allegedly threw the body, made sure that he was out from the prying eyes of the CCTV cameras that have been installed in the area. “It can not be a coincidence that both the places were out of the CCTV camera range,” a police officer said
