Inspect welfare implementation: gaur
Urban Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur has said that people's representatives should invariably inspect field implementation of Government's welfare schemes during visits to their respective constituencies.Gaur was presiding over a meeting of Harda District Planning Committee on Saturday. MLAs Kamal Patel and Sanjay Shah, district panchayat president Yamini Mankar, municipality chairperson Sangeeta Bansal and other members of the committee were present on the occasion.Works of Health, Education, Agriculture, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources etc. were reviewed at the meeting and necessary instructions were given. The meeting was informed that the BT work of Timarni railway crossing is complete. It has been built by the contractor on his own cost and risk. Twenty-eight works of Public Works Department costing Rs 126 crore are going on. The department has completed asphaltation of eight roads and it will be completed on four roads by December 31, 2011 and four other roads by March 31, 2012. The meeting also informed about Decentralised District Plan, Food Coupon, internal CC roads in villages, socio-economic survey etc.
