ESIC holds conclave
Employees' State Insurance Corporation organised a conclave on 'Making ESIC world-class service organisation and making of the brand' in Bangalore on Wednesday as part of ESIC's Diamond Jubilee Year.
Chief guest at the conclave was Karnataka Labour Secretary GS Narayanaswamy and others who addressed the meet included Infosys senior vice president Ramdas U Kamath and others.
Addressing the conclave, senior officers of the ESIC stated that the corporation was one of the largest social security organisations in the world in which insured person and his family members become eligible to full medical facilities, without any upper ceiling on medical expenditure, from day one of entering the insurable employment.
For providing better medical facilities to insured persons, ESIC has entered in the field of medical education by starting its own PGIMSR, Medical, Dental, Nursing and Para-Medical Colleges. One ESIC PGIMSR at Rajajinagar, Bangalore has also been started, according to a corporation press release.
