Teenager drowns in Kaliyasot dam
A 15-year-old schoolboy drowned in Kaliyasot dam on Monday. The victim had left for school in the morning.
According to Kamla Nagar police, victim Satpal Kumar Yadav, son of Avdhesh Yadav, was a resident of Shivaji Nagar and studied in 11th standard in School of Excellence. On Monday morning, he had left for school and when he did not return till afternoon, his family members launched a hunt for him. Later, in the evening, a passer-by informed the police over phone that the body of a boy was floating in the dam. The police immediately reached the spot and fished out the body with the help of divers.
