    South African national held with cocaine
    A 36-year-old South African national was arrested in south Delhi for allegedly possessing 40 grams of cocaine with street value of Rs 40 lakh. The accused has been identified as Kelly Williams Mbane, police said on Sunday.

    Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), P S Kushwah, said “The accused hailing from Lesotho in South Africa, was apprehended from Chirag Dilli on Saturday on a tip off. He was arrested when he had come there to deliver the contraband.

    Mbane confessed that he came to Mumbai in July last year on a multiple visa and there he came in contact with a person namely, Ali alleged of supplying cocaine in pubs and bars of Mumbai,Kushwah added.

    During investigation it was revealed that Mbane came to Delhi in September 2011 and started living with his friend Nabeka James in Chirag Dilli with whom he allegedly started drug trafficking in Delhi. Here he made contacts and started supplying cocaine in Delhi to high profile clients and in rave parties in NCR.

    This is the third case of Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch in the current year pertaining to recovery of cocaine.
