Prabhat Jha writes letter to Bhuria, questions Congress’ contributions
BJP State president Prabhat Jha, in a letter to his counterpart in the Congress, asked several questions regarding contributions of Congress towards the development of the State.
Time and again, the Congress leaders urged the Centre not to release any funds. Why they are attempting to halt the development. All the national highways in the State are in poor condition and it is the responsibility of the Centre to repair and maintain the highways. Why in the last three years, no funds have been sanctioned for repairing of national highways to the State, he asked.
Questioning the ministers in the Centre elected from MP, Jha asked why they never pressurised the Centre for sanctioning funds for national highways in the State. Kamalnath was Union Road Transport and Highways Minister and Kantilal Bhuria was a minister in the Centre. Present Union Minister of State Jyotiraditya Scindia is also doing nothing, he alleged.
Jha said the State Government and Opposition should work unitedly for development works. Will he join the delegation led by the CM which will meet PM or you will directly ask the UPA Government to sanction the amount for renovation of highways, he asked.
