Joshi and physics
Professor Murli Manohar Joshi often baffles people with his knowledge of physics. When some journalists recently questioned him about Narendra Modi not campaigning in Uttar Pradesh, as also on BJP’s future leadership and organisational matters, Joshi replied, “The “Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle apply to our party as well.” As journos looked askance at him, Joshi replied, “It says, it is difficult to accurately determine both the position and velocity of a particle at one point of time.”
