Tech glitch: Visitors' access denied
Visitors’ access was denied at Players’ Building on Tuesday due to a technical problem in the bar-coding machine.
The machine was unable to generate entry passes to visitors. Insiders say that visitors’ access was denied due to security reasons as DJB employees protesting at Rajghat intersection had threatened to gherao the chief minister Sheila Dik****.
“The identity card of DJB employee is similar to employees of Delhi Government, posted at Players’ Building and they have threatened to protest outside the Players Building, that’s why police security was tightened around the building,” said a police official on condition of anonymity. Traffic at Rajghat was disrupted due to DJB employees protest on Tuesday afternoon.
