Badal’s Cabinet to focus on pending issues
Ahead of the Cabinet meeting on February 21, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has asked the Council of Ministers to prepare the meeting agenda with more emphasis on issues that are pending.
“CM Badal has asked Ministers to review the pending agendas which failed to come in the past Cabinet meetings. They are likely to be sorted out first,” a senior official of the Punjab Government said.
This would be the last Cabinet meeting of the incumbent SAD-BJP Government during the election Model Code of Conduct, which will continue till the poll results on March 6.
Although the Code of Conduct prevents the Government from taking any major decision, the meeting is said to be a formal gathering at Punjab Bhawan after the hectic poll campaigns for the Ministers.
