Hina Rabbani call lands K’taka man in soup

Hina Rabbani call lands K’taka man in soup
A man from Buddini village in Raichur district of Karnataka is in trouble for allegedly making a 15-minute call from his cell phone to high-profile Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar around two months ago.

Based on Pakistan’s request, Indian officials trace the call to the cell phone of Ambareesha of Buddini village in Sindanur Taluk who was interrogated extensively by the State and Central officials on Sunday at Raichur. A State police source told The Pioneer that the man was found innocent. He said they along with Central intelligence officials questioned him for several hours and later released him. However, talking to the media, Ambareesha pleaded ignorance but claimed pranksters might have used his phone to call the Pakistan Minister.

He said “Neither have I heard of Rabbani Khar nor do I know Urdu or English to abuse her. I do not know what is this all about. I do not know if some student who resides at this centre had used my phone.”
