CBI registered 600 corruption cases in 2011
The Government on Wednesday said CBI registered 600 corruption cases in 2011, which incidentally was marked by massive anti-corruption agitations by the likes of Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev. In 2009, CBI registered 795 corruption cases, 650 cases in 2010 and 600 cases in 2011, minister of state for personnel, public grievances and pensions V Narayanasamy told the Lok Sabha. The agency registered 36 cases against bribe givers in the last three years, he informed.
