Govt not to curtail NCMEI Chairman powers
The Government on Friday informed the Rajya Sabha that there is no move to curtail financial and quasi-judicial powers of the Chairman of National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions. HRD Minister Kapil Sibal said during Question Hour that he had letters from Chairman and members of NCMEI stating that there was no Government interference or curtailment of powers.
