BJP pre-poll workshop in Gujarat today
With Chief Minister Narendra Modi having his way in the just concluded National Executive meeting, the Gujarat unit of the BJP is all set to embark upon preparations for the Assembly elections in December this year.
The pre-poll preparations would be kick-started on Sunday with Modi inaugurating a one-day workshop of leaders of different morchas of the State party.
Named ‘Mission 2012’, the workshop would be attended by more than 500 selected workers and leaders of the various morchas of the party.
According to party sources, the focus of the one-day workshop would be to train the leaders of various morchas about how to effectively counter the falsehood being spread by the Congress against the BJP Government led by Chief Minister Narendra Modi. These morcha leaders would also be trained to highlight the Modi administration’s developmental agenda against the caste and community based politics of the Congress.
Emphasis would also be given on developing effective oratory skills among the participants in the workshop, BJP sources said.
BJP’s national secretary B Satishji, national vice-president Purshottam Rupala, Gujarat State BJP president RC Faldu and many other leaders would address the participants of the one-day workshop.
