INLD seeks rollback
Flaying the steep hike in petrol prices as an “anti-people” policy of the UPA Government, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) on Friday demanded immediate roll back of the hike.
“The prices of essential commodities have gone
up substantially under Congress regime and the Centre has failed in reining in the spiralling prices,” State INLD chief Ashok Arora said.
He said the Government could have cut taxes like import duty and Central Excise on petroleum products rather than raising the prices of petrol. Meanwhile, rallies were held by the INLD workers at district headquarters.
