Madhya Pradesh gets public service award
Minister of State for Public Service Management Brijendra Pratap Singh presented United Nations Public Service Award certificate bestowed on Madhya Pradesh to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Monday. Madhya Pradesh has received this award in ‘Improving the delivery of public services’ category. Principal Secretary Public Service Management Iqbal Singh Bains and Deputy Secretary Manohar Dube were also present on the occasion. Chouhan congratulated the department for this achievement. Minister of State for Public Service Management Brijendra Pratap Singh and Deputy Secretary Manohar Dube had gone to New York to receive the award. They gave information about methods adopted for delivering public services in Madhya Pradesh. It is noteworthy that Madhya Pradesh has got the second prize in ‘Improving the delivery of public services’ category. The state has been bestowed with this award for implementing Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act for the first time in the country for delivering public services in easy and simple way.
