Pakistani national alleges denial of medical aid in jail
Fahim Saddique - a Pakistani national, lodged in high security Nabha Jail, has alleged that the prison bars were keeping medical treatment away from him. Accusing the jail authorities of "harassment", he has also alleged that even his pocket was picked. Acting on his plea for seeking inquiry and initiating action against the guilty, the Punjab State Human Rights Commission has sought a report from the Director General of Police (Prisons).
Saddique alias Ahmed Ali has alleged that the jail authorities were not providing him the medical treatment, and even the State police is also harassing his in-laws at Ludhiana. He further alleged that his pocket was picked of for which he had registered an FIR with the required authorities.
