CM clears air on appointment row
Following the recent conflict between Agriculture Minister Harak Singh Rawat and Education Minister Mantri Prasad Naithani over the appointment of Damyanti Rawat as Director of State Seed Certification Directorate (SSCD), Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna categorically said that if the State Government does anything wrong, then it is the responsibility of bureaucrats to execute the things as per the rule.
Block Education Officer, Sahaspur, Damyanti Rawat, was appointed as Director of SSCD on July 26. She was appointed on the recommendation of State Agriculture Minister and approved by Bahuguna as well.
