Panun Kashmir for SIT probe into genocide of Hindus
Panun Kashmir convener Agnishekhar has passionately appealed to the apex court to set up a Special Investigation Team to investigate the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in their homeland.
Raising the issue of forced exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from the Valley during a Press conference, Agnishekhar urged the Supreme Court, the Union Government, State Government and various other human rights bodies to wake up and take note of the atrocities committed against the minority community.
Demanding a similar SIT along the lines of the one constituted for the Gujarat riots case, Agnishekar said it is high time a SIT should be instituted to investigate the situation under which migration took place and several human rights’ violations were committed.
Kashmiri migrants will observe Martyrs Day on September 14 as the Black Day. On this day in 1989, selective killing of Kashmiri Pandits took place to scare them away from the Kashmir Valley.
