Three killed in bus-car smash in Malappuram
Three persons were killed and two others sustained injuries in a head-on collision between a car and bus near Kuttippuram Bridge in Malappuram district on Tuesday morning.
The dead were identified as Krishnan Kutty, Sumeera and car driver Riyaz.
Grievously injured Subrahmanyan and his wife Pathmavathi have been admitted to a private hospital at Edappal.
The car was proceeding for Guruvayoor when their vehicle crashed into a speeding bus heading towards Kozhikode.
