Teenager killed in road mishap
A teenager was killed when his motorbike hit a container lorry while negotiating a pothole on the NH 47 at Nagiarkulangara Junction near Haripad in the district on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Kannan, 18, of Parayanpallikizhakkathil at Nagiarkulangara. There has been widespread protest against the bad condition of the highway from Ochira to Aroor.
