mallus from time immemorial liked blue coloured jobs and post independence they were a precious lot....lack of opportunity was an excuse ...the environment of kerala was such that it suited for a retired life....but now it come at a sorry pass with money and only money doing the talk ....have money will talk and also walk....no money ur a big looser.....!!!!! and also a cosmopolitan nature of mallus helps us adjust with any place around the globe.....Last edited by ~IronMan~; 6 September 2011, 05:24.Comment

I say it's for a better future.
I say this because my parents moved to the U.S. to give their children a better future. They didn't have a lot of money, but they worked hard and raised us with a decent standard of living.
I disagree. My parents had lots of money in Kerala, but they got tired of all of the corruption and BS that came with being successful.
Just to give an example, my sister is a doctor in the U.S. All she had to do was work hard. In Kerala, she would have had to work hard and also give a "donation" of 30 or 40 lakhs to get an admission. That has to change first.Originally posted by Godfather View PostComment
